We believe that raising healthy, vibrant puppies begins long before they are born it starts with healthy, happy parents. Every dog in our program is a beloved member of our family first, receiving regular veterinary care, a premium diet, and endless love.
To ensure we are breeding the healthiest puppies possible, all of our parent dogs undergo rigorous health evaluations:
OFA Health Testing: Our parents are evaluated through the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA) to certify their hips, elbows, eyes, and hearts are in excellent condition, ensuring they have the best physical structure to pass down.
Embark DNA Testing: We also use Embark, which is a comprehensive canine DNA test. Embark screens our dogs for hundreds of genetic health conditions and traits. By testing our parents, we can confidently ensure that your future puppy will not inherit preventable genetic diseases.
When one of our mamas is expecting, her care goes to the next level. We transition her to a highly nutritious, specialized diet to support her growing babies and schedule extra veterinary visits to monitor her progress.
As her due date approaches, she gets settled into a private whelping room in our quiet, peaceful nursery. We believe a relaxed mama makes for a smooth delivery, so she is pampered with daily grooming, gentle massages, and extra emotional support to ensure she feels clean, comfortable, and deeply loved. When the big day finally arrives, we are right by her side through the entire whelping process, providing hands-on assistance, comfort, and care as she brings her new puppies into the world.
From day one, every puppy is loved, handled gently, and weighed daily to ensure they are thriving. Starting at three days old, we introduce ENS (Early Neurological Stimulation) and ESI (Early Scent Introduction), alongside 10-step handling exercises. These tiny daily interactions are scientifically proven to help build stronger immune systems, better cardiovascular health, and greater stress tolerance later in life.
As their eyes and ears open, we begin sensory exposure. We introduce new textures to their paws and start sound desensitization, gently playing common household noises and city sounds. We also take them on their first car rides to help prevent motion sickness and build travel confidence early on.
This is a busy transitional phase! We begin the weaning process and start them on puppy food, while introducing foundational skills like potty training, crate training, and basic commands. They enjoy daily outside playtime to explore the yard. Most importantly, we conduct thorough puppy temperament evaluations and write up detailed personality profiles. By now, the puppies are fully weaned onto solid food and comfortable spending time in their crates. They receive a comprehensive health check and clearance from our trusted veterinarian. With a foundation of love, training, and socialization, they are confident, well-rounded, and ready to head off to their forever homes!.
